Judge Silences Tory Lanez In The Megan Thee Stallion Case

The Megan Thee Stallion/Tory Lanez saga continues.

The judge in the case handed down a ruling at Los Angeles Superior Court, rejecting a motion from Lanez’s legal team asking for permission to publicly speak on the case.

Lanez was barred from addressing Megan and from disclosing any evidence associated with the case, as they claim Meg wrongfully blamed them for the incorrect reports about the charges being dropped and claims the prosecution has mitigating evidence that could clear their client.

Megan’s lawyer is suggesting that there is evidence that directly implicates Lanez.

Megan The Stallion has repeatedly accused Tory Lanez of shooting her in the feet last summer. Lanez pled not guilty to assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying an unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Meg, tired of having to defend herself and took to Twitter to respond to RUMORS that claim she dropped the charges against Tory Lanez in connection to shooting her.

"AT THIS POINT IM GETTING ANNOYED ! STOP BELIEVING EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE MF INTERNET," she tweeted. "Imagine how I feel waking every day seeing people LIE and turn my trauma into a joke ? That whole team figures out ways to create doubt with my story every week and the media eats it up." Meg added, "Y’all can’t tell when sh*t fake news? Y’all still don’t see an ABUSER picking with me ? The first court date got pushed back bc of the inauguration but I can’t wait until the MF FACTS come out ! B*tch you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND B*TCH YOU GOING TO JAIL."

Meg says Tory tried to pay both her and her friend off after the incident

"I can't believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me." Megan told GQ in an interview.

She says the incident and the weeks that followed the worst experience of her life. Lanez has been charged with felony assault for allegedly inflicting bodily injury and ordered to stay away from Megan, but he's defended himself on his new album.

Several of the tracks profess his innocence and suggest Megan is a liar.

Meg said she did not tell Los Angeles police about the shooting because she was afraid of the legal repercussions and afraid for her safety.

“I didn’t tell the police nothing because I didn’t want us to get in no more trouble,” she said.

Tory was arrested the morning of the incident on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon and was released on bail.

The saga of Megan Thee Stallion led to police to look at Tory Lanez himself as the trigger man.
