The National Football League announced the finalists for the eight Associated Press awards, including the Most Valuable Player award, for the upcoming NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday (January 22).
The finalists for the Associated Press Most Valuable Player award include Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who won the award last year, as well as Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. Other awards include the AP Defensive Player of the Year, AP Offensive Player of the Year, AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, AP Defensive Rookie of the Year, AP Comeback Player of the Year, AP Coach of the Year and AP Assistant Coach of the Year.
