Celebrities Show Support For March For Our Lives On Social Media

March For Our Lives is taking place on Saturday (March 24), which will be based in Washington, D.C. Other cities will have rallies across the country, as well.

Due to the hundreds of the school shootings that have occurred in the United States for the past few years, people -- especially young people -- are using their voices to stop them. March For Our Lives' website reads, "On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today."

NBC News estimates that 500,000 marchers are expected to attend. Many celebrities are scheduled to perform at the event, too. They include Demi Lovato Vic Mensa, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Miley Cyrus, Ariana GrandeJennifer Hudson, Ben Platt, Ben PlattCommon, and Andra DayMany famous faces have even voiced their support for the cause on social media.
